Distance of Thought are a 6-piece American Melodic Power/Progressive Metal band hailing from Houston and sonic proof that things really are bigger in Texas. The band was founded in 2019 by guitarist Dale Rasco and singer Drew Brown and additionally consists of Keyboardist Jeff Quiggle, Bassist Tony Taylor, Drummer Trenton Perry and Guitarist Marc Petillon. 

Born out of frustrations with past endeavors, stale and tired music trends and a strong desire to bring powerful, complex, melodic original music to a scene that has lied dormant. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses melodic hooks and powerful vocals with highly energetic and audience engaging performances that will make you want to take on the world.

Distance of Thought writes with one simple rule, write whatever they are inspired to write in a given moment, which is why their music can shift dramatically, even going as far as switching instruments and roles in the band from song to song.
